Anniversary Photos Detroit – DAC

Two years ago, Michelle and Doug had a beautiful wedding at one of Detroit’s finest venues – the Detroit Athletic Club.  To celebrate their two year anniversary and growing family, Michelle and Doug wanted to relive some of their favorite moments of their day before making it official before God and get married at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rochester. We spent the day creating anniversary photos Detroit – DAC.

We started the day at the DAC.  It was perfect weather for an afternoon of photos downtown – 70 degrees, partly sunny, and a nice breeze.  Once we visited the rooftop, I knew I had to incorporate Michelle’s cathedral veil into some of the photos.  It was the perfect day to create anniversary photos Detroit – DAC.

The grand staircase at the DAC served as the perfect backdrop for an intimate portrait of Michelle and Doug.  We spent the day creating anniversary photos Detroit – DAC.

After spending time at the DAC, we walked some of the nearby streets of Detroit.  I love all of the backdrops and character Detroit has to offer.  We were limited on time since we had their ceremony to attend, so we visited the nearby Gem Theatre as well as the Z lot.  Keep reading for more anniversary photos Detroit – DAC.

After our Detroit shoot was done, we headed to St Andrew Catholic Church in Rochester for a private and intimate ceremony.  This time, little “D” helped mom and dad make it official as they kissed and walked down the aisle.
