I find myself spending more and more time in Detroit these days. With the revival of the city, there is a resurgence of energy and life. New restaurants, shops, stores, events, and even stadiums are bringing more and more people downtown. One of the best parts about this renaissance is the rediscovery of the gems that have always been there. With Cameron and Ianna, we visited some these gems – the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Detroit Public Library. With the first click of the shutter, I knew it was going to be a fun engagement session. Ianna burst into laughter as Cameron whispered something in her ear. Her laugh was infectious and her smiling warming. Throughout the entire shoot, I kept my distance and let them be them. The results were loving and authentic. Their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session was perfect!
I love it how Cameron and Ianna are both photogenic individually. Bring them together though, and they can’t help but to start laughing and having fun. They loved their Detroit Institute of Arts Engagement Session.
Following our Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session, we traveled to Midtown and photographed in front of the Illuminated Mural, one of my favorite murals in Detroit. Vibrant colors cover an easterly wall along E. Grand Blvd, making it a perfect backdrop for a loving engagement session. Finally we ended our Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session back where we started. Right across the street from the DIA is the Detroit Public Library.
Cameron and Ianna’s engagement session took place around Detroit and included the DIA or Detroit Institute of Arts and the Detroit Public library. Detroit engagement and Detroit wedding photography. I am looking forward to their DAC wedding later on this year. After photographing their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session, I know their wedding will be equally as beautiful and classy.
