A Classic Fall Wedding at the Detroit Athletic Club | Emily + Chuck
There are some weddings that linger in your memory long after the last dance, Emily and Chuck’s October 11 celebration was one of those unforgettable days. From the heartfelt tributes woven into their attire to the energy that filled every moment, their wedding was a beautiful blend of elegance, meaning, and pure joy.

Emily’s attire told a story of love across generations. She walked down the aisle wearing her mother’s wedding gown, a timeless piece that carried decades of memories. Later, for the reception, she changed into a dancing dress once worn by her mother-in-law—a thoughtful tribute to the women who helped shape her and Chuck’s lives. Chuck, equally intentional in his details, wore a custom Brackish bow tie handcrafted in South Carolina, adding a touch of southern charm to his look.

The days celebration began at Grosse Pointe Academy, where Emily and Chuck exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends. The autumn air was crisp, the trees brushed with gold, and the setting couldn’t have been more romantic. As they stepped out onto the lawn, a bagpiper played while guests toasted with bubbly from a champagne cart, setting the tone for a day that was both classic and full of personality.

The celebration continued at the Detroit Athletic Club, where every corner seemed to sparkle with laughter, music, and heartfelt moments. This fall wedding at the Detroit Athletic Club did not disappoint. Guests dined, toasted, and cheered as emotional speeches honored the couple’s journey. When the live band struck its first note, the dance floor never emptied—an unmistakable sign of a night well-celebrated.

Emily and Chuck’s wedding was more than a beautiful event; it was a reflection of legacy, love, and community. Photographing their day was a true honor, a celebration that perfectly captured the warmth of fall and the timeless joy of two souls joining as one.
