The longer I am a photographer, the more I learn about life, love, and people. Call it divine intervention, serendipity, or randomness, but I feel like every person who enters into my life plays a role, teaches me a lesson, and leaves a little bit of them with me. Lucky for me, Maria continues to play the role of my friend. This past weekend, I was able to hang out with her and her fiancé, Rob, as we explored an abandoned school that, ironically, I attended in pre-school and she used to teach at. Since then, she has moved buildings and started a very popular online blog – KinderCraze – to help other elementary school teachers with lesson plans and ideas. She definitely met her match; Rob is also involved in education, so it only seemed fitting to photograph their engagement session at a school. When the camera came out, so too did the giggles – for being self-proclaimed non-PDA people, they did a good job of hiding it.
Rob does the crossword daily. I once completed a celebrity crossword in People magazine. (Does that count?)
A beautiful day. A beautiful couple.
