Detroit Mini Engagement Session with Megan & Kevin

Over Memorial Day weekend, we had the pleasure of meeting up with Megan and Kevin for a mini engagement session in downtown Detroit. Visiting from Colorado for the holiday, they made time to capture some beautiful moments together in the city where they’ll celebrate their wedding this fall.

Megan looked absolutely radiant in a classic Lilly Pulitzer dress, the perfect choice for a spring session. The elegant blue and white print was a lovely match for Kevin’s look—he coordinated effortlessly with subtle blue tones that brought their outfits together in a timeless and polished way.

We wandered the streets of Detroit, making the most of the city charm and natural light. From intimate, close-up shots in the alleys to wider street views with sunlight streaming through the trees, Megan and Kevin were naturals in front of the camera. Their energy was relaxed and joyful—so easy to photograph and clearly so in love. It’s always special to capture couples who feel at ease just being together, and these two made it effortless.
