On July 25, 2025, we had the incredible honor of photographing Audrey and Xavier’s wedding at the historic Pine Knob Mansion in Clarkston, Michigan. Known for its sweeping views, timeless architecture, and stunning gardens, Pine Knob is one of the most iconic wedding venues in Michigan. Audrey and Xavier’s day was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, and love, making it a joy to capture from beginning to end.

Getting Ready

We began the morning by dividing and conquering—Brian spent time with Xavier and his groomsmen while I photographed Audrey with her bridesmaids. The bridal suite buzzed with excitement as Audrey stepped into her elegant gown, a dress that radiated timeless sophistication with its clean lines and flowing train.

Her bridesmaids gathered for the reveal, and their joyful reactions set the tone for the day ahead. Shortly after, Audrey shared a quiet, emotional first look with her father—an unforgettable moment that brought tears to everyone’s eyes.

The First Look

Audrey and Xavier’s first look on the mansion grounds was one of the most emotional parts of the day. Xavier’s face lit up the moment he saw Audrey, and their embrace was filled with joy and relief. It was clear these two share something truly special.

Following the first look, we explored Pine Knob’s beautifully landscaped gardens and historic brick architecture for portraits. From laughter-filled walks to quiet, intimate moments, every image reflected the deep love they share.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors under the summer sky, with Pine Knob’s rolling hills as a breathtaking backdrop. As Audrey walked down the aisle with her father and mother, Xavier’s emotions were written all over his face. Their vows were heartfelt and personal, and when they sealed them with a kiss, cheers from family and friends echoed across the grounds.

Reception Details

Inside, the reception was beautifully decorated—romantic pastel florals, lush greenery, and elegant table settings made the space feel timeless and welcoming. Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect Audrey and Xavier’s style.

The Celebration

The celebration began with a lively grand entrance, followed by Audrey and Xavier’s first dance as husband and wife. Parent dances brought laughter and tears, and heartfelt toasts from loved ones filled the room with warmth and joy.

When the dance floor opened, guests of all ages jumped right in, keeping the energy high throughout the night. As the sun set, we snuck outside with the newlyweds for golden hour portraits—soft evening light, the glow of Pine Knob Mansion, and a quiet moment together made for some of the most romantic photographs of the day.
