Like most of us, when I receive a call from a different state, I normally am a bit skeptical to pick it up. This unknown number rang, then sent me a friendly text introducing themselves. I called the number back, explaining my hesitancy, which they thankfully understood. The number belonged to Jillian, the sister of a former groom I had photographed last year. She was recently engaged and very excited to start planning her wedding. After talking on the phone for about 20 minutes, she had heard enough; Jillian wanted me to send her a contract. When I asked her about her wedding, she said the focus was all about family. Brandon was close to his family, especially his brother. Jillian has two brothers of her own and understands the bond. Together, they have a son as well. As their wedding day progressed, family would play various roles throughout the day. Jillian’s mom helped her get dressed one last time, while her dad adorned her the first time he got to see her. Jillian and Brandon picked me as their Southfield wedding photographer.
To say Jillian looked beautiful on her wedding day is an understatement. As she got dressed, her beauty truly began to radiate.
Jillian waited quietly and patiently for her day to begin. First, she would share a first look with her father. BTW Photography is a Southfield wedding photographer.
After Jillian was done getting ready, we headed over to the church, where Brandon was putting on his finishing touches for both him and his son, Cason.
As Jillian walked down the aisle to be given away, a new family was happily created.
Jillian wore a Vera Wang dress, which only enhanced her angelic state.
After the ceremony, we quickly drove to Detroit for their bridal party formals. We barely squeezed in their session before the rains started. BTW Photography is a Southfield wedding photographer.
Brandon and Jillian ended the night surrounded by family and friends at Southfield’s Regency Manor.
