Royal Oak engagement session

One of the things I love about photographing weddings and engagement sessions is that it gives you a brief but intimate look into a couple’s life together. When Ciara and I started to plan her and Kyle’s engagement session, I asked her to describe her perfect day. She quickly responded, “Just hanging out with Kyle.” Perfect! Engagement sessions should be a representation of your relationship. So when Ciara said she wanted to hang out with Kyle, we planned their Royal Oak engagement session around that – hanging out, having fun, sharing laughs, and capturing love.

We started their Royal Oak engagement session at Mesa with a round of drinks and a round of laughs. My favorite thing about Ciara and Kyle – they smile and have fun all of the time. With a relationship like that, who needs help posing? Just click and capture the fun.

After Mesa, we walked the town and found a few quiet spots to shoot.

It is hard to narrow them down, but I think this one may be my favorite image from their engagement session. You can feel they are each other’s everything.
