Danielle and Kosta exchanged vows on beautiful Labor Day weekend at St. John Greek Orthodox Church wedding. The air was filled with love as they celebrated this special day with their cherished family and friends. Both Danielle and Kosta prepared for the ceremony in the comfort of their childhood homes, ensuring that they were able to fully embrace the moments leading up to the exchange of their vows.

Danielle’s bridal preparation was a genuinely emotional experience. Her exquisite gown, a creation of Elissar Bridal, was first introduced to the world when Danielle chose it from the wedding dress collection at Jenna in White in Berkley. The gown, crafted and named after Danielle, adorned her with an undeniable elegance, making her look like it was custom-made.

When it came time for her first look with her dad and bridesmaids, they were full of genuine emotion. Danielle’s time with her dad was priceless; the photos below tell a story of deep love and pride.

We felt an immediate sense of family and warmth when we arrived at Kosta’s parents’ home. Kosta was surrounded by his groomsmen, his parents, and his brother. We took some time to focus on capturing his details and taking portraits.

During this time, Kosta’s groomsmen decided to make a toast to him. They played a little prank by filling all the glasses with water except for one, which was filled with spirits. Each groomsman picked up a glass and, unknowingly, drank from it. To everyone’s surprise, Kosta ended up with a glass full of spirits.

We arrived at St. John Greek Orthodox Church, eagerly anticipating their ceremony. Greek weddings are always a joy to photograph due to the rich, time-honored traditions that are integral to the celebration. From the intimate lighting of the candles to the significant crowning and the heartfelt grand exit filled with well-wishes, each moment is steeped in tradition and symbolism.

Following the ceremony, we accompanied the bridal party as we journeyed to Rochester to take lively group photos and stunning portraits of Kosta and Danielle. The bridal party exuded wonderful energy, making for fantastic group photographs. You can tell Danielle and Kosta enjoyed their time with the group; there was so much laughter shared amongst everyone.

Danielle and Kosta’s portraits are absolutely stunning! They were completely at ease with each other, and their love was evident in every shot. We also managed to capture some natural, candid moments, and Danielle’s infectious laughter filled the air. The photos truly captured their love and passion.

When we arrived at The Palazzo Grande the atmosphere was buzzing and both Kosta and Danielle were eager to join their loved ones and celebrate. As soon as they stepped inside, the excitement was palpable, and everyone hit the dance floor! From the beginning to the end of the night, the dance floor remained alive with infectious energy.

The dance floor was filled with intimate and emotional moments, and at times, guests tossed money in celebration of the happy couple. This was a symbolic gesture to congratulate the newlyweds and wish them prosperity and good fortune in their new life together.
