Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the people. Donna and Brian’s Book Tower wedding on June 18, 2026, was the perfect combination of both. Every part of the day reflected the life they have built together, the family surrounding them, and the thoughtful touches that made their celebration uniquely theirs, all in the heart of downtown Detroit.
The morning began inside the stunning Book Tower, where both Donna and Brian prepared for the day alongside their closest family members. Brian shared meaningful moments getting ready with both his son and daughter, making the morning especially memorable as they helped him prepare to marry the love of his life. Just down the hall, Donna spent the morning with her family, her closest friends, and perhaps the sweetest honorary guest of the day, Amelia, their beloved Golden Retriever. Calmly watching from nearby as Donna slipped into her gown, Amelia seemed to know she was witnessing something truly special.

Before the ceremony, we made our way to Belle Isle for one of the most meaningful parts of the day. Donna and Brian chose to share a private first look followed by a heartfelt vow exchange. Away from the excitement of the wedding, they intentionally created space to simply be together. There was no rush; just quiet moments, handwritten promises, happy tears, and the freedom to take all the time they needed to read every word and soak in the significance of what was about to begin.

Back at Book Tower, family and friends gathered for a beautiful ceremony celebrating not only two people, but two families becoming one. The joy throughout the room was undeniable as Donna and Brian officially began this next chapter together.

Following the ceremony, guests headed upstairs to Kamper’s Rooftop Lounge for cocktail hour overlooking the Detroit skyline. The incredible weather made the rooftop even more magical, while a lively mariachi band filled the air with music, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. One of the most talked-about details was the custom ice sculpture created in Amelia’s likeness, a perfect tribute to the couple’s four-legged family member. Guests also enjoyed live fashion illustrations throughout the evening, creating a unique keepsake to remember the celebration.

As the reception continued back inside Book Tower, laughter, heartfelt speeches, and an energetic dance floor carried the celebration late into the evening. Every detail had been carefully considered, but what stood out most was the overwhelming sense of love that filled every room.

Donna and Brian, thank you for trusting us to document such an intentional, joy-filled celebration. It was an absolute honor to witness your story unfold, and we wish you a lifetime filled with the same love, laughter, and unwavering commitment you shared during your private vows. Congratulations again on your beautiful Book Tower wedding in downtown Detroit.
