DeLaSalle Senior Photos

For nearly ten years now, I have photographed the talented dancers at Ann Parsley School of Dance. If you would have asked me when I started photography if I would enjoy photographing dancers, I would have said “not a chance.” However, dance has become one of my favorite genres to shoot. While Gabriel isn’t a dancer, his sister is, which led to us connecting and designing his DeLaSalle senior photos to highlight his personality and high school accomplishments.

Gabriel is currently a senior at DeLaSalle, my alma mater as well. It was fun to swap stories, hear what has changed, and laugh at the fact that both he and I have shared some of the same teachers. Gabriel plays hockey for DeLaSalle, so we started his shoot in the studio with some of his gear.

Since Gabriel was already dressed up his DeLaSalle senior photos, I thought we would create a few classic portraits in studio as well.

Next, it was off to downtown Rochester to photograph Gabriel in more of a relaxed setting.
