Family, Friends, Fireworks – Happy 4th!

It has been a whirlwind of a few days – 700 miles travelled and two engagement shoots later – I am back at my desk, editing and prepping for the week to come.  During my travels, I took a little detour and visited my cousins.  The stories and laughter were great.  The silent moments were even better.  It was as if there was an unwritten, understood dialogue after all of the laughs as we sat their and watched the calm waters in front of us – we are lucky.  Lucky to have life.  Lucky to have health.  Lucky to have each other.  Aside from that, we don’t need much else.   As we sat and enjoyed our Fourth of July, a special thanks goes out to all those who have given us these freedoms.  Your names a numerous and our gratitude is endless.
