Grosse Pointe Maternity Session

This week marks the thirteenth anniversary of officially starting Brian Weitzel Photography. I always celebrate the anniversary because, to be frank, it changed my life. It has provided me opportunities, given me memories, shaped the way I see the world, but most importantly, it has introduced me to friendships that I cherish dearly. I went into photography for the art. I stay for the relationships. One of those relationships that I have been blessed with is befriending Ashley and Melvin. I photographed their wedding two years ago and enjoyed every moment of the day. When they called and asked if I could photograph their Grosse Pointe maternity session, I was honored. To be a part of their life’s journey and document it is such a blessing.

We decided to use the beautiful Grosse Pointe Academy as our backdrop. An elegant building to compliment the elegance of Ashley. It was a quiet and relaxful evening of maternity photos.
