Anna’s excitement practically jumped off the page.  “Brian!  I am getting married?  Do you have our date available?  Any ideas for locations?  I trust you with whatever you want to do.”  Longacre House Farmington Hills Wedding

“Wow,” I thought to myself.  As I sat down to reply to Anna’s email, I recalled how warm of a person she is: a mother to her beautiful and darling daughter Avery, Anna has this friendly and disarming presence that is magnetic.  Maybe it is her youthful features or perhaps it is her gentle personality.  Either way, I knew her husband would either appreciate these qualities or possess them himself.  As it turns out, the moment I met Tim at the Longacre House in Farmington Hills, I understood why Anna chose him as her husband.  A gentle giant and caring father himself, his warm and open personality perfectly complimented her’s.  Behind Tim’s kind eyes and soft voice was a man who embraced patience, understanding, and forgiveness while being a role model to his kids.  Together, Anna and Tim would create the perfect family through their union.

As Anna and I started to discuss the details of her day, I suggested she look into the Longacre House in Farmington Hills for their wedding site.  It is a beautiful and quaint wedding ceremony site that offers beautiful backdrops for any wedding.  I shot a wedding there last fall and fell in love with the location.

Anna and Tim had a Longacre House Farmington Hills Wedding.

Anna and Tim wrote their own vows.  Anna went first, opening her vows with the moment she knew he was the one.  Anna recalled the story of their first date, when she opened the door to find Tim standing there and went on to lovingly describe what she thought and felt.  Tim, hearing these words, stood there smiling.  Next, it was his turn.  He started his vows.  “Anna, when you opened your door on our first date and stood there with your curly hair looked at me with your blue eyes…”  It isn’t often that I hear the moment each person knew they were the one, let alone that moment is the same for each person.  Needless to say, it was a touching and memorable moment.

With the formation of their new family, Avery and Laila not only became best friends, they became sisters.
