When Liam contacted us, he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Fruzsi, right after she arrived in the country from Hungary. Fruzsi arrived on November 25, and the following afternoon, we secretly positioned ourselves in Detroit’s Parker’s Alley, waiting for their arrival. Brian was tracking Liam as he shared his location while they walked through the city. We received a notification that they were just around the corner, so we took our places.
As time passed—about ten minutes—I got up from my spot and walked over to Brian to ask for an update. He mentioned that he didn’t know where they were; it seemed like they were standing on the corner. Little did we know, Liam and Fruzsi had stopped for a street hotdog before coming down to Parker’s Alley. I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard that detail! I joked with Liam, saying, “Never have we documented a delayed proposal for a hotdog! After their little street snack, they made their way around the corner, and we captured their proposal in Detroit’s Parker’s Alley.
After Liam proposed and Fruzsi accepted, he leaned in to mention that we were capturing their special moment. The look on Fruzsi’s face when she realized it was adorable. She felt cherished, knowing that Liam had gone the extra mile to ensure that this important day in their lives would be preserved forever.
We chatted briefly as Liam explained the various small untruths he had to tell to bring her to Parker’s Alley. As Fruzsi pieced everything together and Liam shared more of the backstory, we took engagement photos in the beautiful Parker’s Alley, decorated with twinkling lights, garlands, and trees.
As the twinkling lights shone above them, they were happy and in love. Their proposal in Detroit’s Parker’s Alley, although chilly, was filled with love, hugs, and warmth from them.
Congratulations, Liam and Fruzsi, on your special day! We felt so fortunate to be part of it. We hope you enjoy the holidays as a newly engaged couple!
