On a snowy and very cold Saturday in Michigan, November 29, 2025, Kevin and Megan, along with their family and friends, gathered for their beautiful wedding. St. Michael’s Episcopal Wedding perfectly captured the heart of the day; timeless, meaningful, and filled with tradition. From the moment we arrived to photograph their celebration, it was clear that this wedding was rooted in family, love, and the joy of coming together despite the winter weather outside

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church holds deep significance for Megan and her family. Returning to her family church brought an unmistakable sense of history and tradition to the ceremony, making the experience both personal and heartfelt. Inside, the warmth of the space contrasted beautifully with the snowy conditions outdoors as Megan and Kevin exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones. Every moment during their St. Michael’s Episcopal wedding felt intentional and emotional, from the quiet anticipation to the ringing of the bells to the joyful smiles shared throughout the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Detroit Athletic Club for the reception. The DAC was dressed and decorated for the season, and its classic elegance paired effortlessly with the holiday atmosphere. Twinkling lights, festive décor, and rich architectural details were seamlessly intertwined into their photos, creating a setting that felt both celebratory and timeless. The warmth of the reception space made it the perfect place to continue the celebration with dinner, toasts, and dancing.

One of our favorite moments of the day was stepping outside into the winter wonderland with Megan and Kevin to capture the beauty and snow of their wedding day. As snow fell around them, the quiet city streets and glowing lights created a magical, cinematic backdrop. Despite the cold, Megan and Kevin embraced the moment fully, hand in hand, allowing the season to become part of their story. These portraits felt romantic, adventurous, and uniquely Michigan.

Kevin and Megan’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of who they are as a couple, deeply connected to family, grounded in tradition, and full of genuine joy. It was an honor to document such a meaningful celebration and preserve these memories for years to come.
