Detroit Athletic Club Pavilion Wedding

As we anticipated Sheree and Mark’s wedding, we couldn’t contain our excitement about capturing the magic of their Detroit Athletic Club Pavilion wedding. The Detroit Athletic Club holds a special place in our hearts, and spending the entire day there, documenting every moment was an absolute dream. From the heartwarming first look to their end-of-the-night stroll in front of the Detroit Athletic Club, every moment was brimming with genuine smiles and full emotion.

Sheree and Mark met in high school and went to prom together. However, after high school, they went their separate ways. But fate brought them back together years later. Their connection was as strong as ever, and they decided to take the next step and get married. The love and joy surrounding them on their wedding day, with their families and friends celebrating their union, created an unforgettable experience.

After their first look, we headed to the rooftop to get some portraits of them. The weather was perfect outside, and the lighting was so soft, enhancing their love.

With some time to spare before the ceremony, we ventured to their hotel suite to seize the opportunity for casual, candid photos of the couple celebrating with their children. Their excitement and anticipation for the day ahead was palpable, and it was a joy to capture these moments.

We made our way to the Pontchartrain Room for their intimate ceremony. As the guests settled into their seats, the room filled with the enchanting sounds of live music created an atmosphere of anticipation as we awaited Sheree’s walk down the aisle.

After their heartfelt ceremony, we headed outside for their Detroit Athletic Club Pavilion Wedding. The Pavilion is the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor elements. The beautifully landscaped area, adorned with a hydrangea border and the soft blue and white centerpieces, created a beautiful summer palette and the quintessential summer reception.

After the newlyweds graced the dance floor for their first dance, the band’s lively music set the tone for a joyous evening, drawing all the guests into the celebration. Amidst the ongoing festivities, we made sure to capture every moment of dancing and laughter.

As the night drew to a close, we led Sheree and Mark outside the Detroit Athletic Club to capture a few more beautiful photos of the couple, their happiness shining through each frame.
