Michelle and Corey had an Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate engagement session before heading to downtown Detroit.
You never know when love will jump out and bite you. For Michelle and Corey, it happened when they were bridal party members at a wedding. Prior to the day, the didn’t know each other but as Michelle said, “I knew he was the one when we started dancing.” Fast forward a few months, and now they are planning their own first dance as husband and wife.
I met Corey and Michelle on a spring afternoon. They wanted a classy and elegant backdrop to compliment their attire. The decided to have an Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate engagement session. The grounds are one of my favorite places to shoot (especially when it rains!) Luckily for us, the ground stayed dry that day and we moved effortlessly around the grounds, having fun, and documenting their love.
After we wrapped up at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate, we headed downtown for a few more pictures. First stop, the Detroit Institute of Arts.
I couldn’t help but to visit one last place that leans itself to a fun a festive shoot.
