On July 26, 2025, we had the joy of photographing Katie and Ryan’s wedding at the breathtaking St. John’s Resort in Plymouth, Michigan. Known as one of the premier Michigan wedding venues, St. John’s provided the perfect setting for a day filled with elegance, love, and unforgettable memories.
We began the morning capturing Katie and Ryan separately as they prepared for the day, surrounded by their closest family and friends. These intimate pre-ceremony moments were full of laughter, excitement, and quiet anticipation. One of the most moving parts of the day was Katie’s first look with her dad, an emotional exchange that set the tone for everything that followed. Soon after came the long-awaited first look between Katie and Ryan, a heartfelt moment that perfectly reflected their love story.
The ceremony took place in the brand-new Garden Pavilion at St. John’s Resort, a modern and light-filled venue that combines architectural beauty with natural surroundings. With lush floral arrangements framing the altar and soft light pouring through the windows, the setting was nothing short of magical. Katie and Ryan exchanged vows in front of their loved ones, and the joy on their faces as they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife was priceless.
