Wedding at Country Club of Detroit

On June 5, 2026, we had the honor of photographing Avery and Will’s Wedding at Country Club of Detroit, a day filled with heartfelt moments, joyful celebrations, and the kind of love that comes from six years of building a life together. As if planning a wedding wasn’t enough, the couple had also closed on their new home in Northern Michigan just one week before the wedding. Despite the whirlwind of activity leading up to the day, they returned home ready to celebrate with the people who mean the most to them.

First Looks

We began the morning with Avery, who shared two incredibly meaningful first looks: one with her dad and another with her stepdad. Both moments were filled with emotion and offered a beautiful reflection of the important relationships that have helped shape her life. Before Avery and Will saw one another, we spent time with their bridal party, capturing the friends and family members who had supported them throughout their journey and stood beside them on one of the most important days of their lives.

Their First Look

Just when we thought the morning could not become any more emotional, it was time for Avery and Will’s first look. Seeing them together for the first time on their wedding day was such a genuine and heartfelt moment, setting the tone for everything that followed.

Afterward, we spent time exploring the beautiful grounds of the Country Club of Detroit for portraits. The elegant setting provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the excitement, anticipation, and joy they shared together. From quiet moments between the two of them to portraits with family and friends, every part of the afternoon felt effortless and meaningful.

The Ceremony

The celebration then moved to Grosse Pointe Academy, where Avery and Will exchanged vows in front of their family and friends during a beautiful ceremony. One of our favorite moments of the day came immediately afterward as they walked back down the aisle as newlyweds. Their excitement was impossible to miss, and that joy continued into a grand exit where they were greeted by their beloved dog, Brody, looking quite handsome in his wedding attire.

The Celebration

Following the ceremony, everyone returned to the Country Club of Detroit for an unforgettable reception. From heartfelt speeches and laughter-filled toasts to a packed dance floor and nonstop celebration, the evening was a true reflection of Avery and Will’s love story. It was a privilege to document such a special day, and we wish them all the happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
