Wedding at Ford Piquette Plant

On February 1, 2025, Jenna and Stephen joyfully celebrated their wedding day. Although the winter chill was in the air, the sun shone brightly, casting a warm glow over their special event. Surrounded by family and friends, they felt profound excitement and love as they embarked on this new chapter of their lives together. Their wedding at Ford Piquette Plant, with its charming industrial backdrop, served as the perfect venue for their reception, which was filled with heartfelt moments and many tears of joy. Every detail, from the delicate floral arrangements to the meaningful speeches, added to the day’s magic, making it an unforgettable celebration of their love.

We arrived at the Godfrey Hotel to capture photos of the preparations with their loved ones and the bridal party. The contemporary aesthetic of the Godfrey Hotel served as a perfect backdrop for Stephen’s photos. He and his groomsmen got ready together, sharing laughter, jokes, and smiles. Meanwhile, Jenna and her bridesmaids also enjoyed their morning, catching up and gifting Jenna thoughtful items for her special day.

After spending time with them individually, we gathered for their first look. It was indeed a perfect moment. Jenna and Stephen were nervous yet excited; naturally, emotions ran high. Tears flowed as they finally locked eyes, and the relief was evident. They were together at last, ready to enjoy the celebration hand in hand.

We arrived at the ceremony as guests filled the pews for the intimate ceremony. At the front, Stephen stood, his hands clasped and a look of serene anticipation on his face, awaiting the arrival of his bride. And then, the moment unfolded: Jenna emerged from the back doors, and all eyes turned to her. Dressed in an exquisite gown, she exuded a radiant smile that brightened the entire space. Her father, proud and slightly choked with emotion, walked beside her, leading her down the aisle. We ventured out into the cold temperatures with the entire bridal party for some photos in Detroit. Everyone was in good spirits, and the laughter and enjoyment kept the group warm. Afterward, we had the opportunity to capture some portraits of Stephen and Jenna cuddling together before heading off to their wedding at the Ford Piquette Plant.

When we arrived at the Historic Ford Piquette Plant, the venue was adorned with twinkling lights, long tables, and soft candlelight, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A delightful doughnut bar added to the charm. The decorations were beautifully arranged with great attention to detail, ideally suited for Jenna and Stephen as they celebrated their new life together.

After the speeches and formal dances, we pulled Jenna and Stephen aside for an impromptu photo in the freight elevator.
