White House Wedding Chapel

Ciara and Kyle got married at the intimate White House Wedding Chapel and hosted a reception at Club Venetian.

Every bride and groom is excited to get married, but Ciara’s excitement was next level. When I spoke with her the week of the wedding to confirm all of the details, it was almost like listening to an auctioneer! She had been planning every detail of her wedding for well over a year and her day was finally here. Needless to say, I felt nothing but joy and happiness for her and Kyle as I watched their day unfold and them experience their perfect day.

The morning of a wedding can set the tone for the entire day. As I walked down the hallway towards Ciara’s room, laughter billowed out of the cracked door and echoed in the hall. I knew we would be in for a treat.

Kyle’s prep was equally relaxed with his dad helping him put the finishing touches on.

With Kyle and Ciara ready, it was time for their first look.

Ciara and Kyle shared their own set of vows shortly after their first look. It was a touching moment, especially for Kyle. He said it was just his allergies. Sure Kyle, sure.

With their first look and vows behind us, it was time for some photos. It wasn’t difficult to get Ciara and Kyle to smile and have fun.

After some photos in Detroit, it was time to head towards their ceremony at White House Wedding Chapel in Madison Heights. I have photographed weddings there before and love the intimate yet elegant feel to the venue

As part of their ceremony, Ciara and Kyle released butterflies back into nature.

Following the ceremony, we stayed at the White House Wedding Chapel for a few more photos, utilizing their beautiful gardens.

On our way to their Club Venetian reception, we stopped at their favorite spot in Royal Oak: Motor City Gas Whiskey Distillery. We originally tried to stop there during their engagement shoot but had too much fun around the city.

Next, it was finally time to properly celebrate. Guests were social and enjoying themselves during cocktail hour. Chelsea from TJ Monte Productions kicked off the Grand Entrance by inviting guests to their seats and the bridal party into the room.
